Today, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, released an internal letter announcing the establishment of two group governance professional committees, namely the group operation and management committee and the group human resources committee.

Lei Jun said that the establishment of these two special committees has ushered in a new era of specialization in group governance, which will help significantly improve the quality and efficiency of decision-making, while taking into account business rapid response and long-term system construction.

In addition, in these two committees, the company's founding team members, the external introduction of senior executives, and the internal promotion of young senior cadres combine to ensure the width of governance decision-making, reflecting the thickness of the group's governance echelon.

It is reported that the Group's Operation and Management Committee is composed of business-related senior executives of the Group, heads of all business departments, and heads of marketing system theaters, and is responsible for overall management of business strategy, planning, budget, implementation, and daily business management. At present, there are a total of 12 members, including Lei Jun and Lu Weibing, President of the Mobile Phone Department Zeng Xuezhong, President of the Everybody Electric Department Zhang Feng, General Manager of the Ecological Chain Department Chen Bo, General Manager of the Internet Department Ma Ji, President of the New Business Department Zhu Dan, President of China Wang Xiaoyan, Vice President of the International Department Xiang Zheng, Vice President of the International Department Xie Ziyang, CFO Lin Shiwei, Chief of Staff Pan Jiutang, etc. Lei Jun personally served as the director of the Group's operation and management committee, Wei Bing as the deputy director, Pan Jiutang as the secretary general, and Sun Qian and Feng Honghua as the deputy secretary general.

The Human Resources Committee of the Group is composed of seven people, including Lei Jun and Lu Weibing, Liu De, the head of the General Cadre Department, Liu Wei, the director of the General Office, Jin Ling, the deputy head of the General Cadre Department, Wang Dong, the general manager of the Human Resources Department, and Zhu Lei, the political commissar of the Chinese region. It is responsible for the overall management of the human resources strategy, the formulation of major human resources policies, and the approval of major organizational restructuring and the appointment and removal of senior cadres.
