The Snapdragon 7gen2, as a mid range chip officially launched at today's Qualcomm press conference, is quite top-notch in all aspects. Coupled with the previously revealed running points of the Antu Rabbit, I believe this processor can be considered a mid range divine U, but there are also concerns that this processor may use Samsung's technology. Let's take a look at which Snapdragon 7+gen2 is OEM!

Is Snapdragon 7+gen2 TSMC or Samsung

It's TSMC

The Snapdragon 7Gen2 adopts TSMC 4nm technology and adopts a 1+3+4 triple cluster design. It has one 2.95GHz CortexX2 super core, three 2.5GHz CortexA710 cores, and four 1.8GHz CortexA510 energy efficiency cores.

This time Qualcomm completely squeezed toothpaste, not only using X2 ultra large core chips positioned in the mid range, but also using TSMC 4nm technology instead of Samsung 4nm technology, which has a lower power consumption compared to Snapdragon 8+.

The Snapdragon 7Gen2 has slightly reduced its CPU frequency, compared to the highly acclaimed Snapdragon 8+Gen in the market, which is only 240MHz down for the ultra large core and 250MHz down for the large core. Compared to the Snapdragon 8+reduced frequency version, only the ultra large core has reduced by 50MHz.

How about it, everyone can rest assured that this Snapdragon 7+gen2 adopts TSMC's technology. I believe Qualcomm will not release another Firedragon level processor in terms of power consumption this time, and I believe that the mid range phones launched in the future will also make significant progress in performance!
